I contain multitudes
This is my YA display for February. At first I was not looking forward to a generic valentines day display but then I realized I could make it gay! It makes me very happy.
Speaking of things that make me happy, I had an experience this Monday. So TMI perhaps but I had my first mammogram Monday. It's bizarre to have someone handle your boobs in the least sexy way possible followed by a machine squeezing them uncomfortably bordering on painful in also the least sexy way possible. So perhaps you're wondering why I'm associating it with being happy.
Well I never thought I would live to need my first mammogram. I used to joke about dying in my 30s or 40s cause I was so miserable. I spent years doing the best I could to be happy being a guy, but i was dying inside. I never thought I could be a woman, much less be happy just by being a woman. It really changed my whole world. So yeah, I got out of that strange and uncomfortable appointment and it made me reflect on how holy shit! I'm getting to be an old lady, I get to be a lady, and I get to grow old! Life is amazing!
So I also mentioned getting to role play on my last post and boy howdy did I get to role play! Thursday, Saturday and Sunday! Thursday was D&D with my normal magic group. I played Lady Miranda Flufflebottom my Warg Bard. Our group is on our way to get uncursed but in the middle of that we started investigating a strange Inn with a magic field that keeps certain people out. Fluffy thought perhaps it was just a very exclusive club but the innkeeper insists it's just a spell that lets in the lost and no one else. I don't feel particularly lost so that's odd, but while investigating and staying the night the Inn came under attack by zombies. Fluffy handled about half of them herself with Thunderwave and we ended with the threat under control but before we could really talk to the Innkeeper and get to the bottom of this.
Saturday was Mausritter and I played Blueberry my adorable mouse girl. She and William helped the town deal with the threat of the evil sunflower they may be partially responsible for. She also bullied the local wizard to give her magic lessons and can now make William grow extra huge!
Sunday was lunch with Jess again, this time at Tomasita's followed by a couple rounds of magic which I stomped her at. Then was D&D with my main group where I play Stone, my Warforged Monk because it's really funny that this massive robot is stealthy AF. Also at this point Stone can fly which just tickles me to no end. Currently Stone's crew is investigating a small frontier town where it looks like the Mayor and Sheriff are gonna sell out the whole town so we gotta fix that.
anyway, hope you all are happy also and if you're not...maybe try estrongen?
