Lot to catch up on this time cause I missed last week's post. So two weekends ago Jess and I went to Brekki Brekki for breakfast. They had a really good chicken and waffles, I especially enjoyed the country gravy they made to dip the chicken in, though I think traditionally you have the chicken with the waffles and maple syrup. A little overpriced though when I think I would have just as soon just had pancakes from IHOP, lol. After we hit Duke City and played a couple rounds of magic. Revised Liliana and Myrkul did well against her one on one. Still they need more play testing in 4 player games.

Afterwards I went over to Cain and Mander's place and we finished up Silent Hill F! The default ending is kinda balls though! We definitely want to play it more cause as much as a I like the dark endings on Silent Hill this one maybe went a bit too far? The nice thing is that new game + is gonna let us start with a lot of the upgrades and extras we got in the first play through.

Then on Monday we celebrated Eli and Basil's birthday with actual korean bbq at I-grill! I really had been wanting to do the grill again but every time i've gone everyone else wants to do hot pot and I'm tired of hot pot, I need MEAT! We also of course hit Daiso after and I scored some great Keroppi stickers finally!

Eli and I had been watching Twisted Metal together and this time we finished season 2. I'm really impressed with the show as it's able to keep blending the game into a really fun and entertaining show. Eli also introduced me to Secret Level which is a great set of animated video game based shorts. Most of them were really well done and I was very impressed with it over all.

Then came the tuesday from hell! During my usual pogo walk on my work break I managed to wipe out and scrape both my knees up really bad as well as my left hand. I'm glad I didn't break or sprain anything but really big nasty owies. That night I'm supposed to meet Eli and their parents for dinner and as I pull up to the place I get a text from Eli that they are just leaving the house and not to rush...sigh. Could have warned me a little sooner. THEN! Middle of dinner the waitress is bringing me a refill on my tea and spilled it all over me. Just why not at that point.

The nice thing is that the day after, instead of keeping off my feet i went right back to it and caught 3 shiny pokemon and the Galarian Articuno! It was a super lucky pokemon day. Shinies included Nincada, Joltik, and Audino.

Okay so that catches up to this weekend and I'm almost out of time so I'm gonna make that a seperate post today or tomorrow.
